Copesan seeks an accounts receivable professional experienced in B2B collections on national accounts. Must have experience working with large corporate clients with multiple locations and multiple decision makers. Experience working with third party payers is also helpful. This is a challenging position ideal for someone who enjoys using their attention to detail and strong analytical skills to solve complex problems. 

To accomplish this you will:

  • Apply payments to and reconcile client accounts.
  • Perform collections on past due accounts and record all client contacts.
  • Investigate reasons for non-payment of accounts and work with clients, Partners, Sales, Client Services and Billing to resolve account discrepancies.
  • Research credit requests and submit for approval.
  • Process approved credit memos on client accounts.
  • Work closely with team members and other departments to achieve mutual goals.
 The qualified candidate will possess:
  • An Associate Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2-5 years experience in commercial collections/credit, preferably in a service-related industry.
  • Professional demeanor and communication skills
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong 10-key data entry with high level of accuracy
  • Billing or other Accounting experience a plus
