Copesan is #1 in the Readers’ Choice Awards Survey
Copesan — Specialists in Pest Solutions, was named a “Food Industry Best Supplier” in Food Processing Magazine’s “2008 Readers’ Choice” awards by a margin of nearly two to one over the second place pest management company.
The publication’s annual Readers’ Choice survey was sent to a select group from the magazine’s circulation list representing all categories of the food and beverage industry. Readers were asked to vote on their favorite brands and category suppliers. The survey’s answers were unaided and did not include a selected list of suppliers from which to choose.
In the article, published on FoodProcessing.com, a plant executive at a meat and poultry company is quoted, “The top-tier suppliers do the following: 1. listen; 2. understand our processes and constraints; 3. actively engage in plant audits; 4. brainstorm options; 5. accurately estimate capital, material and labor impact; 6. show creativity in implementation schemes; and 7. truly partner with the processor on innovation and development.”
